Extended Abstract Submission
Extended abstracts (EAs) should be formatted according to IEEE conference style. They should be min 800 words and max 2 pages long. The Review process is blind but not double-blind (i.e., include the names and affiliation of authors).
Before submission, select the most appropriate submission type:
- Research papers: reports on recent original research results not published elsewhere, including work in progress. The EA should explain your research problem, including motivation and relation to existing work, but also a summary of your results.
- Summary papers: summary reports on own recent results published elsewhere or under review, including references to the original source; also combined summaries of multiple papers. The EA should be similar to that of a research paper.
- Survey papers: complex overviews of important sub areas or relevant papers related to distinguished research problems. The EA should motivate the survey and explain its relevance to the PRASAE workshop.
- Position papers: short papers highlighting relevant challenges and open issues that the community is facing, as well as arguing out opinions on how to approach them. The EA should outline the problem/opinion you want to argue about in your position paper, and summarize your arguments.
- Demo proposals: concise descriptions of the application or tool (including prototypes) you want to present; if possible also include a link to a live demo or a video presentation. The EA should briefly describe your application or tool, and outline the scenario/features you want to demonstrate, 1–2 screenshots are welcome.
If you are in doubt regarding the best type for your submission, feel free to ask us.
Extended abstracts should be submitted in PDF using the Conftool system:

Consecutive publication of full papers in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, is based on the 2nd round of review of the full papers and the presentations. Please refer to ITHET 2018 submission instructions for further details.
