PRASAE 2017 focusses on innovative learning strategies related to peer- and self-derived feedback:

We seek paper submissions considering these learning strategies in education, in contexts such as (but not limited to):

Submission Requirements

Submissions of (a) original research results, (b) summaries of results recently published, as well as (c) survey papers, and (d) position papers are encouraged. The selection of papers will be based on originality and contribution on one hand, but also on the potential to bring interesting discussion topics to the workshop.

Extended abstracts will be peer-reviewed by at least 3 members of the program committee. Successful extended abstracts will be accepted for presentation and included in the ITHET 2017 conference proceedings. Authors of accepted extended abstracts are invited to submit a full paper, which will undergo a 2nd round of review after their presentation at the conference. Some modifications may be requested at this stage after which they will be copyrighted to IEEE and be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, once they meet the requirements of IEEE quality review. Some papers will be selected for expansion into journal papers.

One registration for each accepted paper will be required. Authors with multiple papers will be allowed a discount registration for each additional paper.

Call for Demos

Besides for papers we welcome submission of proposals for live demonstrations of innovative applications and tools aimed to support peer review, peer assessment, self assessment, peer tutoring, and other similar activities in educational practice. These demo proposals should be submitted in form of an extended abstract describing the tool or application that you plan to showcase.

All demo proposals will be peer-reviewed by the members of the program committee and accepted proposals will be demonstrated live during the workshop's demo session. Authors of successful demo proposals will are invited to submit a full demo paper to be included in IEEE Xplore® Digital Library. The same 2nd round of review and registration policy as for all other types of papers will be applied.
